I went on a weekend trip with my boyfriend to the Forest of Dean near Wales, and it was so lovely to spend all day outside in nature, either walking or cycling. There were some beautiful sights
And some things came as a bit of a surprise, like the village sheep who spend weekends in the small village just walking around, eating grass and making trouble for drivers
I’ve not been doing much crafting lately as I’ve been taking advantage of the beautiful sunshine and hot weather we’ve been having. But the hotter weather made me realise how much I need some nice summer clothes that fit well. I raided my stash and set about planning.
I’ve got 3m of black linen and just over a meter of this African fabric. I was thinking I could make a nice sundress with the African fabric as a belt and cuff trim.
I’ve also got meters of this navy coloured fairly stiff fabric that would be good for a pencil skirt or even jeans. My first choice is currently a pencil skirt with button flap and red pockets (Kasia on Burda if anyone’s seen it).
Also, does anyone have suggestions for what to do with nearly 4m of purple chiffon I got in the bargain bin?
